Solid hardwood is a single piece of wood throughout its thickness. Engineered hardwood has a real wood veneer over a plywood core, making it more dimensionally stable and better suited for basements, above radiant heat, and wider plank widths.

In some cases yes — provided the existing tile is solidly bonded and the added height will not create issues with doors or transitions. We assess each situation individually and recommend the approach that ensures the best long-term result.

Hardwood and LVP can typically be walked on immediately with care. Tile installations require 24 hours for adhesive cure and 72 hours before full traffic loads. Grout should be sealed after 72 hours of cure time.

Yes. We refinish existing hardwood floors by sanding to bare wood, addressing any gaps or damaged boards, then applying your choice of stain and a premium polyurethane or hardwax oil finish for lasting beauty.
